Responsible for: |
Adopting ordinances relating to the
protection of the health of borough residents
Employing and fixing salaries of necessary personnel,
Jurisdiction over the bureau of vital statistics, the health officer, and other
such necessary employees.

A 7 person board whose members are
appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by the Borough Council. Appointments are for a
term of 4 years.
