Voting in New Jersey

 
Please remember to vote – your vote will make a difference!

You are eligible to vote in New Jersey and Federal elections if you are:

A United States Citizen
bullet
At least 18 years old by the next election
bullet
A resident of your home county for 30 days before the election

Where to Vote:
Roseland has several district polling places:

bullet District 1 & 4 -- Borough Hall , 19 Harrison Avenue

District 2 -- First Aid Squad, Behind the Firehouse 300 Eagle Rock Avenue

bullet

District 5 -- Public Library - Roseland Avenue

bullet

District 3 & 6 -- Lester C. Noecker Elementary School, Passaic Avenue

Call the Borough Clerk if you need more information regarding your voting district. Note: You are not eligible to register or vote if you are on parole or probation, or if you are serving a prison sentence for violating State or Federal law.

A voter may apply for an absentee ballot by completing an
Absentee Ballot Application” and mailing it to the County Clerk by mail up to 7 days prior to the election. A voter may also apply in person to the County Clerk until 3:00 PM the day before the election. FAXED COPIES ARE NOT ACCEPTED. Your polling place will be designated on your sample ballot, which if you are registered to vote in this election, should be received by you approximately 5 days before the election.

You may register to vote at the Municipal Clerk’s Office
Monday thru Friday, 8:30 am – 4:30 pm.
Send the completed application to:

or give it to the Township Clerk. Forms must be received 21 days prior to the next election to be able to vote in that election.
