Voting Information

You are eligible to vote in New Jersey and Federal elections if you are: A United States citizen, 18 years old by the next election and resident of your home county for 30 days before the election.

NOTICE TO ROSELAND VOTERS
CHANGE OF POLLING LOCATION FOR DISTRICT #3 AND DISTRICT #6

EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY, NOECKER SCHOOL WILL NO LONGER BE USED AS A POLLING LOCATION FOR PRIMARY OR GENERAL ELECTIONS.  BEGINNING WITH THE JUNE 7, 2016 PRIMARY ELECTION, THE POLLING LOCATION FOR DISTRICT #3 WILL BE THE ROSELAND FIRST AID SQUAD BUILDING LOCATED AT 300 EAGLE ROCK AVENUE, BEHIND THE PUBLIC WORKS BUILDING.  THE POLLING LOCATION FOR DISTRICT #6 WILL BE THE ROSELAND PUBLIC LIBRARY LOCATED AT 20 ROSELAND AVENUE. 

 DISTRICT #1 WILL CONTINUE TO VOTE AT THE ALL PURPOSE ROOM AT 19 HARRISON AVENUE, DISTRICT #2 WILL CONTINUE TO VOTE AT THE ROSELAND FIRST AID SQUAD BUILDING, DISTRICT #4 WILL CONTINUE TO VOTE AT THE ALL PURPOSE ROOM AT 19 HARRISON AVENUE, AND DISTRICT #5 WILL CONTINUE TO VOTE AT THE ROSELAND PUBLIC LIBRARY.

  • Call the Borough Clerk if you need more information regarding your voting district. Note: You are not eligible to register or vote if you are on parole or probation, or if you are serving a prison sentence for violating State or Federal law.


A voter may apply for an absentee ballot by completing an “Absentee Ballot Application” and mailing it to the County Clerk by mail up to 7 days prior to the election. A voter may also apply in person to the County Clerk until 3:00 PM the day before the election. FAXED COPIES ARE NOT ACCEPTED. Absentee ballot Applications are also available in the Municipal Clerk’s Office.

Your polling place will be designated on your sample ballot, which if you are registered to vote in this election, should be received by you approximately 5 days before the election.

You may register to vote at the Municipal Clerk’s Office Monday thru Friday, 8:30 am – 4:30 pm.  or by mail
