The Camp is administered by a Commission comprised of the
five owner towns with a Management Committee that includes trustees of the Camp Wyanokie

Volunteers, especially local Boy Scouts fulfilling service project requirements for their
Eagle Scout award, contribute to the maintenance and improvements at the camp.Facilities:
The facilities include 150 acres of land at the edge of Norvin Green State Forest. The
camp surrounds a five acre lake. Woods have picnic and low impact ground camping
areas. ( No Campers or RVs). There are no plumbing facilities, but regularly tested
well water is available at a hand pump and is safe to drink. There are two latrines.
Permits and Applications:
Facilities can be used by family, youth, educational & service
organization/groups (under adult supervision). Applications from groups outside the
five towns will be considered subject to local residents' priority. There is a
permit charge for out-of-town applications.
Permit applications/Rules and Regulations are available at
each town's municipal building, but all permits are processed by the North Caldwell
borough recreation office.
Applications must be accompanied by payment (if
appropriate) at least 2 weeks in advance of the requested date(s). A permit will be
issued, authorizing the specific use of the property.
