Influenza (Flu) & Pneumonia Vaccination Clinic

Flu and Pneumonia vaccination clinics are conducted each fall. Advance registration is required at (973) 888-6035.

The fee for residents 65 years and older with Medicare Part B only is free all other residents will be charged $20.00. A receipt will be provided to you for possible reimbursement from your own provider. It is the residents responsibility to submit for his/her own reimbursement. Please make checks payable to: Township of East Hanover. Same rates apply for residents requesting a Pneumonia Vaccine.

Screenings are conducted twice annually. Fee for the SMAC blood screening is $22.00 and prior registration is required, Fasting is required for the SMAC test; that is, no food or drink, except for water for 12 hours prior to the test, PSA (Prostatic Specific Antigen) $25.00. 2020 Roseland Flu Clinic

The Roseland Health Department announces the annual influenza clinic for residents of Roseland. The clinic in Roseland will be held on Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at the Roseland First Aid Squad, 300 Eagle Rock Ave, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm.

Pre-registration and appointments are required. Please call the health department Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 4:30pm to make an appointment. You must receive an appointment time by a staff member to be considered registered. Phone messages will be returned in the order they were received.

There is no fee for residents 65 years and older. All other residents will be charged $20.00. A receipt will be provided to you for possible reimbursement from your own provider. It is the resident’s responsibility to submit for his or her own reimbursement. Please make checks payable to: Township of East Hanover.
The health department staff will administer the vaccine. Please note that people with known allergies to eggs should receive the vaccine under medical supervision only. Please be sure to bring your Medicare-B card and wear a short-sleeved shirt.

A doctor’s note is required for residents between the ages of 18 to 49 with chronic diseases such as heart disease, lung disease & diabetes. Pregnant women also qualify for the vaccine (doctors note required).
