Mission Statement: Given that the Williams Pipeline Compressor Station and pipeline improvements are proceeding within the Borough of Roseland, this committee is formed to insure that health, safety, economic and environmental factors do not adversely impact Roseland residents during the construction, installation and operation of the Compressor Station and Pipeline facility.
The Roseland Police Department has received the following notice from Transcontinental Gas Pipe Line Company:
Between April 24 and May 22, 2017, Transcontinental Gas Pipe Line Company, LLC (Transco) will be performing system modification work at its Compressor Station 303, which is located at 563 Eagle Rock Avenue in Roseland.    As part of this work, periodic planned releases of minor amounts of natural gas will be necessary.    Air movers will be turned on to provide a safe working environment.  It is expected that the air movers will operate during all venting operations.  Odorant releases from air moving operations are not anticipated, but are possible.  All required notifications to first respondents and utilities will be duly made   both in advance and at the conclusion of all planned natural gas venting operations. Thank you in advance for your patience and cooperation.
