Patricia Borino Memorial Playground

Patricia A. Borino worked for the Borough's Recreation & Parks Department for 25 years from 1983 until 2008 when she passed away. She worked for Recreation before it was established as a full-time department in 1984 and is the only assistant ever to work under all three Recreation Directors - Gary Sykes, Mark Sweeney, and Michael Colitti. She served as the secretary for the Recreation Committee and assisted in heading up many of the passive programs such as the annual Senior Citizen Luncheon and various day trips throughout each year.

As a volunteer, she was in charge of the Roseland Raiders Cheerleading Program before it was unified with Essex Fells & North Caldwell and is now known as the West Essex Cowboys Association. Pat loves Rod Stewart, panda bears, and most of all, her family.
