First Death of COVID-19 in Roseland

On behalf of the entire Roseland community, the Borough would like to express our deepest sympathy for the family and loved ones of the patient who passed. We ask that the community respect the affected family's privacy during this difficult time.

Today, the Roseland Board of Health and the New Jersey Department of Health reported the death of a hospitalized patient. This event marks the first death in Roseland due to COVID-19.

On behalf of the entire Roseland community, we express our deepest sympathy for the family and loved ones of the patient who died, as well as the families of everyone who has been affected by this outbreak. The health of our residents and the community is our top priority, and we will continue working together to care for and protect the safety and health of our residents, first responders and the entire Roseland family. We ask that our community respect the affected Family's privacy during this time.
