After almost a year and a half, the Borough is excited to reopen the Borough buildings for public access and to restart council meetings in person in the renovated Council Chambers room.

"Continuing to invest in our community's infrastructure, buildings, and parks inspires our residents to stay here and attracts families to Roseland," said Mayor James R. Spango. "We want to continue to strive to be a first class Borough while maintaining our small town feel."

Renovations to the Council Chambers area include new flooring, repainted walls, reframed portraits of previous Mayors, a photo table of organization, new chairs, new blinds, new facade for the dais, photos from community events on the walls, the installation of a camera system for broadcasting of council meetings online and on television, and a new carved Borough seal. A few additional improvements are also going to occur over the next few weeks to formally finish off the renovation work.

Residents can now re-enter the Borough buildings but must wear a face covering and observe social distancing, regardless of vaccination status. If you are still uncomfortable entering the Borough buildings, you can continue to use the intercom system as well as the gray metal dropbox located at the front of Borough Hall at 140 Eagle Rock Avenue.
