The Borough of Roseland, NJ invites the public to attend the ribbon cutting ceremonies for the reopening of two high priority projects that residents have been asking to see completed.

Roseland will re-open the Harrison Avenue Tennis Courts on Tuesday, July 19 (July 20 rain date) at 6:15pm and are excited to reveal the Pickleball Courts that have been added to the fenced in area, after several residents petitioned the governing body to consider adding pickleball to the project, as pickleball has quickly become a top sport in America for several years running.

“Pickleball is the fastest growing sport in the United States and we are proud that Roseland can offer brand-new, first-class courts that our residents can proudly claim are the gold standard and the best in the area,” said Roseland Mayor James R. Spango.

The Borough will also reopen the Tedesco Park Basketball Court at 5:45pm on Wednesday, July 20 (July 21 rain date) as the first step in a series of improvements for the community park.

“Updating and renovating the basketball court is just phase one of Tedesco Park’s renovation and continues our vision of updating all of our facilities to be the gold standard of municipalities. We continue to improve our community with minimal impact to our taxpayers, which is why our Borough is such a desirable place to call home,” said Roseland Mayor James R. Spango.

The Borough is looking forward to seeing residents using the new facilities in the parks and hope that the public attends the openings so they can take part in the excitement and celebration of the continued work to revitalize the Borough’s parks.
