Roseland Congratulates Rocket League Tournament Winners

The Borough of Roseland, NJ would like congratulate the winners of the first ever Rocket League Tournament, held by the Borough’s Recreation Department.

Facing off in the final round of the tournament were Jake Piccirillo and Daniel Constantino with Jake taking first place and Daniel taking second.

Jake was dominant for the entire tournament, beating his opponents 13-4 and 11-0 before winning the final 10-2.

"I applaud our recreation department Director Mike Colitti for finding innovative ways to keep our children engaged,” said Mayor James R. Spango. “I congratulate Jake and look forward to seeing if he can repeat on June 22nd!”

"Roseland's Rocket League Tournament was a success,” said Councilwoman Michele Tolli. “This online video tournament was a first for our Recreation Department and we are planning to host another tournament the week later this month."

The next Virtual Gaming Tournament is scheduled for June 30. Exact times and categories of players are to be determined based on amount of interested participants. Registration can be done on Community Pass up until June 25.
