Serving Our Seniors During COVID-19 Outbreak

Food delivery to senior

The Borough of Roseland, NJ wants all seniors living in town to know that if they need meals for them or their household, the Borough would like to help them out during this stressful and difficult time.

Roseland seniors are encouraged to call the Borough’s main phone line at 973-226-8080. You will be asked to provide your name, address, phone number, and date of birth and we will do our best to connect seniors to local food delivery programs or to other programs, departments, and organizations in Essex County that could help them.

"It is important that we look out for and care for each other at this time,” said Mayor James R. Spango. “The Borough continues to seek out ways to ensure our residents are cared for with any supply we can provide, while keeping them healthy and safe.”

"The Borough is working hard to address the needs of our residents and seniors during this difficult time,” said Councilwoman Eileen Fishman. “This program is just one way of accomplishing that.”

The Borough has also pledged to absorb the cost of any meals Roseland seniors need if they cannot afford to pay for the delivery service themselves.
