Baseball & Softball Registration 2020

Registration flier

The Borough of Roseland, NJ would like to inform residents with children in first to eighth grade that baseball and softball registration for the 2020 spring season has now commenced!

Registration is done via the Community Pass website, easily found on the Borough website, www.roselandnj.org/recreation-department, and is open through March 6th. Late registration is allowed up to March 13th, but a $15 late fee will be charged and there is no guarantee that space will be available for late submissions.

Registration is $100 per person and participants are sorted by grade level into four categories – grades 1-2, 3-4, 5-6, and 7-8. Games are played in Roseland and other local West Essex communities depending on the grade level.

“Besides the obvious physical benefits of youth sports to our children, youth sports build confidence, promote the benefits of teamwork and teach life skills to Roseland’s youth which are essential to not only sports but life,” said Mayor James R. Spango. “We are excited for another wonderful year of memories for our children and with our children.”

“Every spring, Roseland children look forward to playing on Roseland’s baseball and softball teams,” said Councilwoman Michele Tolli, Recreation liaison. “Games are well attended by parents, grandparents, and local residents. Our fields are kept in excellent playing conditions and safety is our main concern.”

To learn more about the registration and to ask questions about the program, please call the Roseland Recreation Department at 973-403-6822. You can also email the Director of Recreation at mcolitti@roselandnj.org.
