The Borough of Roseland, NJ invites residents to attend the annual Easter Egg “Eggstravaganza” on Saturday, April 4th. The event will start at the Harrison Complex All Purpose Room and the egg hunt will take place on the Harrison Complex building’s front lawn.

The event, for Roseland children age 8 and under, starts at 9:30am with a snack and craft time and pictures with the Easter bunny follow at 9:45am. An Easter Show with Polka Dot Ron will take place at 10:30am and the egg hunt will start promptly at 11:30am. Parents are encouraged to bring their own camera and children should bring their own basket.

"Our Easter Eggstravaganza is the unofficial kick off to our spring and summer events,” said Mayor James R. Spango. “This great day and the memories of our Roseland children running across our lawn signals the beginning of warm days and that great community events are coming.”

"Roseland children look forward to this event every year,” said Councilwoman Michele Tolli. “This year, we are hiding 2,000 eggs and children that find a special egg will win a chocolate bunny.”

No registration is required to participate at the event. A rain date is set up for the following Saturday, April 11th, at the same site and times. In case of inclement weather, calls can be made to the Roseland Recreation Office at 973-226-6552 and then press #3 no earlier than two hours before the event is scheduled to begin.
