2023 Santa's Arrival & Hometown Christmas Celebration

2023's Roseland Hometown Christmas Celebration is going to be yet another a grand celebration of the season! If you heard about last year's event, you know you won't want to miss this special night of magic and fun hosted by the Borough.

We hope to see you at the Christmas tree lighting and witness the arrival of Santa in Roseland on Saturday, December 9 at 3pm. There will be various activities, refreshments, and performances, in addition to Photos with Santa (RSVP through Community Pass!). All activities will wrap up by 7pm.

Please be advised that because of the construction work occurring on the Harrison Complex, parking will not be available at the Calvary Church on Fells Road for the Christmas Tree Lighting. Parking will be available at the Roseland Library by Roseland Avenue and Fells Road. Residents may also legally park on the residential streets across Eagle Rock Avenue from Borough Hall. Police Officers will be stationed at Eagle Rock Avenue and Condit Court to cross pedestrians across Eagle Rock Avenue. Those needing handicapped accessible parking can arrive at the intersection of Harrison Ave and Roseland Ave and let the police officers stationed that you need handicapped paring and you will be directed where to go.

Also, remember that Harrison Avenue will be closed between Eagle Rock Avenue and Roseland Avenue during the event, an hour before, and an hour after the celebration.
