Borough Parks

There are four parks within the Borough:

  1. Harrison Complex (East End)
  2. Monument Park (East End)
  3. Bond Force Memorial Park (Central)
  4. Tedesco Park (West End)

Borough Fields

Thee are four fields within the Borough:

  1. Thomas J. O'Beirne Field - located in Harrison Complex @ 19 Harrison Avenue
  2. Harrison Field - located in Harrison Complex @ 19 Harrison Avenue
  3. Fernwood Field - located in Bond Force Memorial Park @ 298 Eagle Rock Avenue (corner of Eagle Rock Ave. & Fernwood Ave.) 
  4. Mayor Louis & Lynn DeBell Field - located in Bond Force Memorial Park @ 298 Eagle Rock Avenue (Fernwood Ave.)

Rules & Regulations

In ANY Borough Park or Field, the following are strictly prohibited (Roseland Ordinance 18-2018):

  • Littering
  • Use of Glass Bottles
  • Parking Vehicles on the Grass or Unauthorized Areas
  • Consumption of Alcoholic Beverages and Other Intoxicants
  • Unleashed Dogs
  • Leashed Dogs in Picnic Areas, Play Areas and Sports Facilities/Fields
  • Use of Bikes Off Paved Roadways
  • Fires and/or Barbeques – unless a permit is first obtained from the Fire Prevention Officer
  • Solicitation and literature distribution, vending, peddling, advertising, or signs
  • Golf
  • Powered Flight Models
  • Loud, violent, obscene or profane language
  • Fighting
  • Weapons
  • Operation of Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) as defined and regulated in Chapter III, Section 3-8 (Ordinance No 11-2018)

All who use Borough facilities must comply with these Ordinances as failure to comply may result in a written summons and/or fines up to $500.00.

Facility Use

If you wish to use one of our outdoor or indoor facilities, you need to fill out our Facility Use Packet and receive a signed permit back. Read more here.
