Cards With a Cop

The Roseland Police Department held an outreach event on Saturday, February 6th, where residents were invited to work alongside police officers and create Valentine’s Day cards to be delivered to seniors living at Arbor Terrace.

“Events that foster relationships between our youth and police officers that ultimately benefit our seniors are a win-win,” said Mayor James R. Spango. “A gauge of any community is how it cares for its youth and its seniors. This great event organized by Ms. Pigott, has our youth and our Police Department touch the lives of our seniors.”

Additional outreach events are planned in the months ahead, including a Coffee with a Cop event on March 31 at 7pm. Those interested in learning more or attending should contact outreachrpd@gmail.com.
