PSE&G Reimbursement for Spoiled Food and Medicines
PSE&G's policy has been expanded due to the COVID-19 pandemic

PSE&G announced on August 17, 2020 that it is expanding its claims policy due to the pandemic so customers who lost electricity during Tropical Storm Isaias for at least 72 hours can be reimbursed. Reimbursements of up to $250 are available for residential customers and up to $5,000 for commercial customers for food spoilage. Reimbursements up to $300 are possible for prescription medications that spoiled due to lack of refrigeration.
