Roseland TV Now Available to Watch Through Digital Service, LocalBTV

Roseland TV is now streaming 24/7 through new service for those who cut the cord!

The Borough of Roseland is excited to announce that Roseland TV, the public access television channel of the Borough which was currently only available to Comcast (Channel 35) and Verizon (HD Channel 2146) customers, has now partnered with technology company Didja to offer access to view Roseland TV through their mobile, tablet, and smart TV applications on Channel 75.8.

At no cost to the Borough and at no cost to anyone wishing to utilize its basic service, Didja, through its LocalBTV platform, is providing the ability of anyone living in the entire New York City Metro area the ability to tune in and watch Roseland TV wherever they are. Their service for this area, NYCBTV, is described by Didja as "antenna TV for the mobile age”.

To watch, one would either go onto the NYCBTV webpage, download the free LocalBTV app to an Android or Apple smartphone or tablet, by downloading the LocalBTV streaming channel on a Roku device, or download the LocalBTV app on Apple TV, Android TV, and Amazon Fire TV devices. NYCBTV is available to New York City area residents only, so Roseland TV cannot be seen by anyone outside of the New York City television market.

“The ability for Roseland TV to reach more eyeballs, in addition to the fact that the viewer, nor the Borough, will have to pay a dime in charges or fees to utilize this service is a huge achievement and another important step to keep Roseland TV relevant with the times, establish a watchable and enjoyable broadcast quality, ensure it is accessible to all age groups, and to assure transparency in government for a 21st century consumer,” said Mayor James R. Spango.

Those wanting to learn more and start streaming Roseland TV can go to www.localbtv.com/m/NYCBTV or search LocalBTV where they download their apps and streaming channels. Once in the application, click the map marker icon or the “Community” text and choose Roseland TV, which is Channel 75.8.
