Special Meeting of the Borough Council - April 18, 2024

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that in accordance with the provisions of the Open Public Meetings Act, Chapter 231, P.L. 1975, N.J.S.A. 10:4-6 et seq., notice is hereby given that the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Roseland will hold a Special Meeting on Thursday. April 18, 2024 12:00 PM via Zoom Teleconference. Formal action will be taken.

Procedures for making public comments during the meeting: There will be a public comment period during the meeting. The mayor will announce the beginning of the public comment period and will mute all attendees. If you attend the meeting via computer and wish to make a comment, click on the “raise your hand” icon and you will be placed in a que and unmuted by the mayor when it is your turn to speak. If you attend the meeting via telephone, you will receive instructions at the beginning of the call to press *9 when the mayor announces each public session. All attendees will again be muted and your call will also be placed in the que in order of selection.

Procedures for making public comments in advance of the meeting: You may submit comments or questions via email to jwatkins@roselandnj.org or in written letter form by 12:00 noon the day prior to the meeting to Jock H. Watkins, Borough Clerk, 140 Eagle Rock Avenue, Roseland, NJ 07068. Comments or questions submitted in this form will be read aloud during the appropriate public comment period.

Relevant documents: The meeting agenda and any relevant documents will be posted on the Borough’s website in advance of the meeting at: www.roselandnj.org, in the “News and Announcements” section with the posting of the Council Meeting announcement. Council will open the meeting and convene to Executive Session. The public portion of the meeting will immediately follow the conclusion of Executive Session. Copies of this notice will be posted, mailed and filed in accordance with the provisions of the Open Public Meetings Act. Formal action will be taken at this meeting.
