While Roseland is not under any warnings, watches, or advisories, please ensure you are paying attention to the forecast for the winter storm the area will be experiencing starting tonight (3/13/23) through the entire day Tuesday (3/14/23).

Currently, the forecast calls for rain, mixing with sleet or snow in the overnight hours, between noon and 3pm on Tuesday, and after sunset on Tuesday. Temperatures will be hovering in the upper 30s and low 40s for most of the day today and tomorrow, but dropping into the upper 20s on Tuesday night. A slight change in the storm track could mean the Borough gets all rain, more sleet and snow, or more snow, so residents are advised to remain vigilant.

Be careful as sub-freezing temperatures can lead to icy conditions on roads and sidewalks from any wet surfaces from earlier in the day. In addition, there will be gusty winds that could bring down branches and move loose objects. Residents should ensure that they have charged their devices in the event of a spotty power outage due to developing conditions as the storm comes through.
