The Roseland Recreation Department is excited to announce online registration for all Recreation Activities beginning with Winter Programs .  Roseland Family Accounts created in 2009/2010 are still active.  For instruction on how to create a New House Hold Account and how to register for Recreation programs click here.

Grades 3-8- Fee $125.00 Per Person
Registration Deadline- Friday, November 9th (late fee will be assessed after November 2nd)
Practice begins- The Week of November 26th
Games Begin -The week of December 31st                                                        
HIGH SCHOOL INTRAMURAL BASKETBALL
Grades 9-12- Fee $115.00 per person
Open to West Essex Regional High School students

LETTERS TO SANTA – (ALL AGES)

Write a letter Santa and share with him your Holiday requests

Drop your letter in our Santa Mailbox at 140 Eagle Rock Avenue

  

ANNUAL MENORAH LIGHTING CELEBRATION – (ALL AGES) – FREE

 Sunday, December 2nd in front of Borough Hall at 6:15 p.m.

Post Ceremony refreshments will be provided

               

 ANNUAL CHRISTMAS TREE LIGHTING & SANTA ARRIVAL – (ALL AGES) – FREE

Friday, December 7th at Borough Hall / Harrison Bldg. from 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. (Approximately)

 Various entertainment, refreshments and of course Santa!!!

Registration is required for the Santa Visitation

Santa pre-registration deadline: Wednesday, December 5, 2018.

 13th ANNUAL HOOP SHOOT COMPETITION (AGES 8-13) – FREE

Event on Monday evening, December 10th at Noecker School

Open to all area residents

In an effort to maximize recreational, educational and cultural opportunities for Roseland Residents that are not offered by the Borough of  Roseland Recreation Department, the following links are provided to assist residents with additional recreational programs not affiliated with the Borough of Roseland.

Please be advised that all parents of children who participate in any Roseland recreation programs or  are expected to conduct themselves in a courteous and respectful manner. Obviously, parents should not use profanity, threats or insulting language. Parents should also not engage in any controversial conversations with the supervisor, instructor, teacher and or coach of any program. Any parent having any concern regarding a supervisor, instructor, teacher and or coach‘s performance should refrain from speaking with said person. Rather, the parent should contact the Roseland Recreation Department directly regarding that concern. The Recreation Director will take any necessary appropriate action.

Recreation Committee Meetings: Meetings are select Tuesdays during January, March, May, July, September and November.
Meeting Schedule

Structure: The committee is comprised of 9 resident members who are appointed by the Mayor with the advice and consent of the council. Members serve a 3 year term and receive no compensation.
