Compressor Station Expansion

Below is information regarding the expansion to the compressor station in the Borough of Roseland - DOCKET NO. CP18-18-000.

JANUARY 2, 2018

  • Notice of Intent to Prepare an Environmental Assessment for Proposed Gateway Expansion Project.

DECEMBER 4, 2017

  • Transcontinental Gas Pipeline LLC Proposed Gateway Expansion Project (CP18-18). Transco filed an application for the proposed Project with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) on November 15, 2017. This federal proceeding is referenced as FERC Docket CP18-18. There are two ways to become involved in the Commission's review of this project (CP18-18). Please see attached Notice of Application for more information on how to be involved. The governing body strongly encourages all interested residents to view the filing on FERC'S Website. using the "eLibrary" link and enter the docket number CP18-18.

OCTOBER 17, 2017

  • At the October Council Meeting the Governing Body adopted Resolution No. 285-2017 "Opposing William/Transco Filing an Application with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) to Expand Their Operations in Roseland Without Disclosing their Plans to Residents Beforehand".

JANUARY 29, 2018

  • Public Notification Letter and Fact Sheet that demonstrates Transcontinental Gas Pipe Line LLC is in compliance with the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) "Administrative Requirements for the Remediation of Contaminated Sites", N.J.A.C 7:26C-1.7.

JANUARY 30, 2018

  • Resolution No. 34-2018 "Authorizing the Borough of Roseland to Act as an Intervenor in the Application by Transcontinental Gas Pipeline for the Expansion of the Compressor Station".

FEBRUARY 20, 2018

  • Resolution No. 75-2018 "Authorizing the Creation of William Transco Gateway Expansion Project Ad Hoc Committee".

APRIL 17, 2018

  • Resolution No. 146- 2018 "Resolution Establishing the Members of the Compressor Station Ad-Hoc Committee".

JUNE 5, 2018

  • Resolution No. 194-2018 Opposing and Calling for a Public Health and Safety Study of the Proposed Williams Transco Gateway Expansion Project.
