The East Hanover Health Department in conjunction with the Roseland Board of Health will hold a Skin Cancer Screening on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at the Senior Citizens Center, 96 Mount Pleasant Avenue, East Hanover, 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm for residents of East Hanover and Roseland 18 years and older.

Dr. Adrian Connolly, M.D. LLC, whose office is located at 101 Old Short Hills Road, Suite 503, West Orange, will be conducting the screening. Everyone is at risk for skin cancer. About 80% of skin cancers could be prevented by simply using sun protection methods. Most skin cancers are relatively easy to detect. Early detection makes all the difference for a successful outcome. Dr. Connolly, in conjunction with the Health Department, emphasizes the importance of skin cancer awareness, education, and early detection.

There is no charge for this Skin Screening Clinic. Dr Connolly, who is a resident of East Hanover, donates his skills as a community service. This program is offered on a first come first serve basis and pre-registration is required. Please call the East Hanover Health Department at 973-888-6035, Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm to make an appointment.
