Water Main Improvements Notice - May 2023

WATER MAIN IMPROVEMENTS
BOROUGH OF ROSELAND

April 25, 2023

On or about May 1, 2023 (weather permitting), construction will commence on the above-referenced project, starting on Westview Avenue. The work to be performed under this contract includes the water main replacement on Green, Glen and Westview Avenue. This consists of a new 8” Ductile Iron water main replacement, new Gate Valves (to allow water to be shut down), Fire Hydrants, and water services to all residents connected to the main. Green and Glen (South of Passaic Ave) are tentatively scheduled to start the week of May 22, with Glen Ave (North of Passaic) to start early July.

Homeowners may experience delays with access to and from their residences as the work progresses. Please be aware of detour and road closure signs. No Parking Signs will be posted along the roadway at least 24 hours prior to the start of work. Please keep in mind that inclement weather will delay construction. Please move your vehicle(s) off the posted street by 7:00 A.M. on the dates indicated on the signs. Access to the street will be limited until approximately 4:00 P.M. on days of construction.
