DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER, THE FISHING DERBY HAS BEEN POSTPONED UNTIL MAY 22, 2022, WITH THE PRE-REGISTRATION DEADLINE SET FOR MAY 19, 2022.

The Fishing Derby returns to Roseland in 2022!

The event is open to Roseland children ages 4-14. Registration is required to participate in this free, fun, and family friendly event! THERE IS NO SAME DAY REGISTRATION! Register online through Community Pass on the Borough's Recreation Department website. Participants must bring their own pole, tackle, bucket, and chair. After catching the fish, participants are asked to release them back into the pond.

Check in will be from 8-9am with the derby being held from 9am to 11:30am, with an award ceremony immediately following. The Derby will take place at 55 Livingston Avenue in Roseland at Pond #2.

Reisdents are encouraged to attend and bring a picnic lunch and folding chairs with them.
