2024 Mother of the Year Essay Contest

The annual Mother of the Year competition is looking for nominations on who should be the 2024 Mother of the Year.

In 200 words or fewer, tell us why "My mom should be mother of the year because..." and mail your essay to the Recreation Department - 140 Eagle Rock Avenue, Roseland, NJ 07068. Prizes awarded in 1st to 3rd grade and 4th to 6th grade groupings. Winners will receive lunch for two at Johnston's Steakhouse in Roseland. Essays should include name, address, telephone number, grade, birthday, school, and mother's name on the back of the essay.

Entries can be mailed to the Roseland Recreation Department at 140 Eagle Rock Avenue, Roseland, NJ 07068 OR dropped off in the gray, metal dropbox in front of Borough Hall. Please note that if emailing your entry, the body of the email should contain the name, address, telephone number, grade, birthday, school, and mother's name of the person making the submission and the essay (without any of that identifying information) should be included as the attachment.
