2024 Pitch, Hit & Run Competition

The annual Pitch, Hit & Run Competition will take place this April for baseball and softball. All Roseland residents and area Non-Resident Boys & Girls, ages 7 to 14, are able to participate.

The competition will be held on Friday, April 26, 2024 with a rain date of May 3. The competition is “FREE” but you must register!

Trophies are awarded to Overall, Pitching, Hitting and Running Champions. First Place finishers will have an opportunity to advance to Sectional, Team, and National Competition.

  • Pitch - 6 attempts to hit the Strike Zone, 
  • Hit – 3 swings in attempt to hit the ball for distance and accuracy &
  • Run - measured speed in a sprint from start point to home plate for a total distance of 120 ft.  

NO ONSITE OR SAME DAY REGISTRATIONS WILL BE ALLOWED. A COPY OF PARTICIPANT’S BIRTH CERTIFICATE MUST BE ON FILE. Please call the Recreation Department to see if a copy of your birth certificate is on file. Start times for each group will be announced at a later date.
