The 9th annual Pitch, Hit & Run Competition will once again take place at the Harrison Complex at 19 Harrison Avenue with Thomas J. O’Beirne Field hosting baseball events and Harrison Field hosting softball. All Roseland Resident and Non-Resident Boys & Girls, ages 7 to 14, are eligable to participate.

The competition will be held on Monday, June 14, 2021 (new date). The competition is “FREE”.

NOTE THAT ALL REGISTRANTS WILL BE PLACED ON A WAITLIST UNTIL IT CAN BE CONFIRMED THAT THE EVENT CAN BE HELD DUE TO COVID-19 REGULATIONS.

Trophies are awarded to Overall, Pitching, Hitting and Running Champions. First Place finishers will have an opportunity to advance to Sectional, Team, and National Competition.

  • Pitch - 6 attempts to hit the Strike Zone, 
  • Hit – 3 swings in attempt to hit the ball for distance and accuracy &
  • Run - measured speed in a sprint from start point to home plate for a total distance of 120 ft.  

Must be Pre-Registered (by June 9) online through Community Pass (http://register.communitypass.net/roseland and also through pitchhitrun.com

A minimum of 10 signups is needed to run the competition. 

Deadline:  Wednesday, June 9, after that you will be placed on a waitlist and added up to the day prior to the event, if space available   

NO ONSITE OR SAME DAY REGISTRATIONS WILL BE ALLOWED. A COPY OF PARTICIPANT’S BIRTH CERTIFICATE MUST BE ON FILE. Please call the Rec. Office to see if a copy of your birth certificate is on file.
